The Art & Soul Covenant Group has been working on this project for a number of years. Each member starts with a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 sketchbook and creates something on its first page or pages. At each Art & Soul meeting all the sketchbooks are shown and then are shuffled and re-distributed. The member has to create a new work in the new sketchbook he/she receives, ideally reacting somehow to the work that has already been done. Sometimes the books disappear for months, only to suddenly reemerge. Themes develop within the books and then morph and change into something new. Links to the actual books are below and will be updated. The books are not in any sort of chronological order.
